Special Friends For Special Children
The Buddies program gives children who are developmentally or physically handicapped the exciting opportunity to participate in the TreeHouse and learn about Jesus. Each special needs child is "buddied up" with a volunteer who consistently assists him or her each week during the large and small group times. The specific needs of the child and concerns of the parent are taken into consideration before a buddy is selected.

Getting Involved
Whether you are a family with a special needs child or someone who would like to buddy with a child, our goal is to effectively match each child with the appropriate buddy.  Families fill out a packet of information about their child while prospective Buddies complete an application and go through the TreeHouse screening and training process.
