Thanks for your interest in finding out more about Ignite. We are a group of young adults in our 20’s and 30’s who desire to grow in our walk with God as well as in our relationships with others.

One of the deepest needs of our age group is the need to be connected with a community of individuals who sharesimilar values and interests. Ignite attempts to create a safe environment where you can build friendships and have fun doing it.

Several times a month we meet together for a variety of activities including potlucks, hikes, bowling, camping, andsporting events. We also believe that part of the Christian walk is to engage with the world outside of the church walls. In addition to the Sunday morning class, many of us are involved with community groups that meet weekly to study the Bible. Currently we have groups meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. (See Ignite Quick Facts) We also encourage people to share their ideas and talents with the group. Some of the ways you can get involved is by serving in areas that interest you such as service, multimedia and social events, among others.

Ignite - Quick Facts

When and where does Ignite meet?
Ignite meets on Sunday mornings at 11AM  in the South 3rd Floor Small Room. We admit that the room is a bit difficult to find the first time, so we encourage people to stop by the Singles Ministry booth located in the church atrium and someone will walk to the room with you.

What is Ignite’s mission statement?
Mission Statement: To be a God centered singles ministry that fosters personal and corporate growth through the development of authentic relationships resulting in an outward display of Christ-like character and action.

How can I get involved?
Other than attending class, a community group or any of our activities, you can also volunteer to serve in one of the key areas of Ignite such as event planning, prayer, service, care, and marketing. Does Ignite have a website?
Yes we do. At this time Ignite uses a Yahoo Group, but we are in the process of improving our web presence. Since the Yahoo Group requires permission to login to the site, we encourage interested people to come to class before signing up.
