For several years the staff has been praying and seeking God’s direction for how to better fulfill the mission God has given us of making disciples as we reach into our community and our world. We have gone through a process of reviewing all of our existing, excellent programs and determining how they contribute to our mission of seeing people’s lives change because of their new and/or deepening walk with Jesus Christ. 

In May 2009, a budget/reorganization team made up of pastors, elders and lay leaders was formed to review the refined vision for the body and the finances of the church.  The offerings and gifts contributed by the body had been lower than projected throughout the fiscal year, and the reduction increased throughout the summer.  The budget/reorganization team addressed:
• The best way to respond to God’s leading toward discipleship and building relationships within the community, and
• Being good stewards of our resources.
